• Willamette Writers Conference (Oregon) – one of the West Coast's largest multi-genre conferences.

• DFW Writers Conference (Dallas–Fort Worth, TX) – strong agent/editor participation, held each spring.

• Pikes Peak Writers Conference (Colorado Springs, CO) – commercial fiction and publishing.

• Jackson Hole Writers Conference (Wyoming) – literary and commercial fiction.

• Key West Literary Seminar (Florida) – literary writing and lectures.

• Colorado Gold Conference (Denver area) – all genres.

• Imaginarium (Louisville, KY) – fantasy, sci-fi, horror.

• Historical Novel Society North America Conference (held every two years; check 2027 schedule).
